Return and Exchange Policy
NAME STORIES RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Since each Name Story is custom-made and personalized for each customer, we do not accept returns.
Exchanges
We only replace an item if it is defective or in a damaged condition when you receive it. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@namestories.com and send your item to: Name Stories, 334 Vista Pacifica, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations in which exchanges may not be granted:
Any item that is not in its original condition or is damaged for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request for an exchange. If you are approved for an exchange, then we will promptly send you a replacement via first class delivery.
Shipping
To return your product for exchange, you should mail your product to: Name Stories, 334 Vista Pacifica, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are approved for an exchange, we will issue a refund to your payment account to reimburse you for the cost of USPS first class shipping.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
