Digital downloads of our products are available exclusively for customers located outside of the United States.

No shipping fees. No customs delays. No carbon footprint. Receive your personalized name-meaning artwork as a high-resolution file, ready to print at home or at your local print shop.

Personalize Your Print

Every digital download includes a custom line of text printed at the top of your artwork — this is what makes your piece one-of-a-kind, and it's required to complete your order.

What to write (up to 25 characters):

  • A birthdate — Born 07-02-2023
  • A full name — Geneva Mary Matthews
  • A short, meaningful phrase — "Our Beloved Daughter" or "Best Friends Forever"

Formatting guidelines: Please use upper and lowercase letters only — no ALL CAPS (it doesn't render well in our script font), and no emojis or special symbols (♥ ! @ # etc.).

Where to add it: Type your custom text in the Personalization field on the product page before adding it to your cart.

Orders submitted without custom text, or with text that doesn't follow the formatting guidelines above, will be placed on hold while we follow up with you by email to request a correction — this can delay your download. To get your art fastest, please don't skip this step.

How It Works

  1. Add your item to cart and enter your custom text in the Personalization field.
  2. Complete checkout. You'll receive an order confirmation by email right away.
  3. Our team prepares your high-resolution file and emails you a download link — within 48 hours of your order (often sooner). We're based in Santa Barbara, California, and operate Pacific Time.
  4. Download, print, and frame.

Printing Your Artwork

For best results, we recommend printing using a giclée process on fine art paper — a heavy matte or textured archival paper works beautifully. This is the same professional method we use for our own physical prints, and it gives the artwork a soft, elegant, museum-quality finish.

If you visit a local print shop, simply ask for:

  • 8"x10" or 11"x14" (depending on your sizing purchase)
  • Archival matte fine art paper (300gsm+ if available)
  • High-resolution art print / giclée print

This will closely match our in-house production quality.

Good to Know

  • Each digital download is personalized and made-to-order, so it cannot be returned or exchanged once delivered.
  • Your custom text makes every file unique to your order — for that reason, files are licensed for personal printing and framing only, and may not be resold, reprinted for resale, or redistributed.
  • Name Stories® artwork is currently available in English only.
